Annycent Capital is an alternative investment management firm focused on climate investments in emerging and frontier markets. Investments are designed to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for investors, while advancing environmental and social objectives aligned with the U.N. Sustainable Development Agenda and the Paris Agreement.
Our Vision
Our name is inspired by a woman in Uganda, who represents the individual and societal impact of our work.
She serves today as the CEO of the first privately built hydropower plant in her country, a project sourced and funded by one of Annycent's founding members.

Experienced team, with strong financial backing
Members of the Annycent team were among the first, in 2008, to invest in renewable energy in emerging markets.
Through the Global Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Fund (GEEREF), members of the Annycent team built an unparalleled track record, including the development and construction of a total of 175 clean energy projects in emerging markets, totaling over 3 GW.
The senior investment team has over 50 years of combined experience investing in the target regions, of which they have 35 years of clean energy and fund management experience. At launch, Annycent was backed by an early anchor investor, Riverstone Partners, a global energy investor that has raised USD 43 billion in committed capital since its inception in 2001.
